Scottow Moor Solar:
Phase II
Construction of Phase II of the solar farm has started and will last for approximately 8-10 weeks. During this time there will be local road closures and a higher volume of traffic in the local area. We hope to keep the impact on local residents to a minimum but if any issues arise please call Taylor Keogh on 020 3170 8466

Scottow Moor Solar Limited is a 50MW solar farm on land within the former RAF Coltishall, the airbase owned by Norfolk County Council and now known as Scottow Enterprise Park. The Enterprise Park is 10 miles north-east of Norwich.

The first phase of the solar farm has been generating electricity since March 2015. It was constructed in just 7 weeks, making it one of the very quickest large-scheme builds in the UK and Europe. Construction on the second and final phase of the solar farm starts at the end of January 2016 and will be completed by 31 March 2016.

Once complete, the overall scheme will generate enough clean energy to power approximately 12-15,000 homes, with a CO2 saving of nearly 20,000 tonnes per annum. In addition, the land rental will generate income for the County Council in excess of £10 million over the next 25 years.
